EtegamiIt is a common Japanese custom to send a hand made "Thank you card" to the sender of unexpected gifts or something long waited for. Rather than quick phone calls or E-mail, time and effort given to card making and delivery adds extra warmth to the message.

shihitsuThe chairman of SALON DE NATIONAL DE BEAUXARTS, the wife of the chairman of the Water Color Association of Paris, Kojiro Akagi and Sachiko Imai, Japanese artists who live in Paris, all used the brushes and they were impressed by the quality of "JAPAN BRAND" brushes. "JAPAN BRAND" brushes are invited to have a special presentation booth at the 2004 SALON DE NATIONAL DE BEAUXARTS.

view of fudenosato koboCalligraphy Brush Museum was erected in 1994, which exhibits the history of brush making, and displays artifacts and craftsmanship. Occasional art exhibitions focused on brush works are held as well. For example, "the annual oversized (60cm x 30cm) handmade card competition" proudly displays fine works chosen from over 10,000 entries from nationwide amateur artists.
