An International Trade Exposition is being held at Parc d'Exposition de Paris-Nord Villepinte from January 28 (Friday) to Feb 1 (Tuesday), 2005.


Maison & Objet is a biannual international trade fair at which some 2,700 companies from around the world are honored in recognition of being the most creative in their fields. The invited companies are given opportunities to proudly display their products.

Nine representative companies from the Kumano brush (fude) industry will have a large scale booth, "JAPAN BRAND KUMANO FUDE", to introduce the claborate craftsmanship of Kumano brushes which are deep rooted in tradition.

67,000 buyers, 2,500 journalists, creaters and designers of various specialities from over 150 nations are expected to visit the exposition. It is a perfect opportunity for "JAPAN BRAND KUMANO FUDE" to promote their products and to extend their international market.

The indoor exhibition site is divided into seven section, sizes of which vary from 8,000m2 to 48,000m2, total of 191,000m2.


Access to Paris-Nord Villepinte

by RER, ligne B:

From Paris: Take the RER line B, direction Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle, alight at "Parc des Expositions". From Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle: Direction Paris, alight at "Parc des Expositions", the first stop after Roissy.

by car:

From Paris: take the A1 motorway or the A3 motorway towards Lille, then take the A104 motorway towards Soissons, follow the signs for "Parc des Expositions Visiteurs". Direct car park to hall 5B: P8/P9.

TGV station:

Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle TGV station, 10 minutes from the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre (RER), provides a direct link to more than 30 towns and cities in France, Belgium and Great Britain.

MAISON&OBJET Courtesy Shuttle Service runs between Roissy and the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre, and between Porte Maillot and the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre.
